Legendary comedian Michael Colyar gets unleashed as the star of Impact Network’s first scripted TV series, the comedy “Highly Favored.” The irrepressible and uncontainable Colyar plays Michael Crawley, the pastor of an Inglewood, Calif., church who is an old-school, fire-and-brimstone preacher reluctantly trying to usher the congregation into the new millennium philosophically. With co-stars Kiki Shepard, comedic actors Rodney Perry and Melanie Comarcho, and actors Chico Benymon and Anthony S. Goolsby, what happens is nonstop hijinks, humor, and hilarity amid serious themes.
