Longtime “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star Karlie Redd was arrested in Atlanta on Tuesday, April 22, and charged with first-degree burglary.

According to the police report obtained by The Shade Room, Redd was apprehended for breaking into the home of her ex-husband, Teleau “T Davinci” Belton, and taking several items without his consent.

Police charge Karlie Redd with a felony

Redd has subsequently been charged with first-degree burglary, a felony in the state of Georgia, and was released on bond.

Redd and Belton got engaged and married in 2024, but their marriage ended just six months later.

Belton was arrested in February 2025 for allegedly punching Redd on “the chin with a closed fist,”  during an argument. Hot New Hip Hop reported that there was no visible bruising on Redd when police arrived. Nevertheless, Belton was taken to the station for processing and was released on $2,000 bond.

He filed for divorce not long thereafter. Last month, a Fulton County (Ga.) judge ordered Belton to pay Redd $18,000 monthly in temporary spousal support.

Fans clowned Karlie Redd after the arrest became public

Fans were not very sympathetic to Redd’s personal dilemma and mentioned multiple times in The Shade Room’s comments section that she was too old to break into people’s houses.
