After some time away, YFN Lucci is back, and he didn’t just step into the spotlight, he stepped straight into the heart of his community.

The multi-platinum rapper and Atlanta native hosted his 2nd Annual Golden Bunny Bash at The Bank Event Center this past Sunday, marking his first public appearance since being released. But this wasn’t just a comeback event, it was a full-circle moment. It was a celebration of family, resilience, and giving back to the very city that raised him.

More than 650 kids and families pulled up for an Easter celebration that was way more than egg hunts and face paint (although there was plenty of that too). With music by DJ Lavish Lee, scavenger hunts, food, games, and some heartfelt moments, the day felt like a block party with purpose.

“I’m back where I belong,” Lucci shared. “Seeing these kids smile, being able to touch the people again — it means everything. Atlanta molded me. Everything I do is to let them know I’m still here, and I still care.”

Lucci has never been new to this, he’s been doing community work long before the headlines. Whether it’s back-to-school drives or Christmas giveaways, he’s always pulled up for his people. But this year’s event hit different. It was personal. It was a reminder that no matter what challenges come, Lucci’s love for Atlanta never wavered.

Through his Well Wishes Community Organization, Lucci linked up with the Blessing All Neighborhood Kids (B.A.N.K.) Foundation to throw a family-friendly bash that left real impact. And if you know Lucci, you know family comes first. Each activation was named after his kids: Justice’s Pop It Popcorn Station, Legacy’s Hoopy Scoops Italian Ice, Liberty’s Cottontail Cotton Candy, Honest’s Eggstravagant Face Painting.

“My kids are my world,” he said. “I want them to see what it means to give. I want them to understand that success isn’t just what you have — it’s what you give away.”

It’s that same authenticity that made YFN Lucci one of the South’s most respected voices. His breakout project Wish Me Well 2 put him on the map, with “Key to the Streets” becoming an anthem and “Everyday We Lit” still bangs like it just dropped. But beyond the music, it’s clear Lucci’s greatest legacy might be what he’s doing off the charts. With Sunday’s event, YFN Lucci reminded everyone that he’s not just back, but that he’s planted, present, and pouring into the future.
