Coco Jones is making history in the music world. As R&B is making its resurgence, The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and actress has secured the No. 1 New R&B Artist Debut of 2025 via her groundbreaking album Why Not More? This project released via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings makes a statement that R&B is back. Coco star power and artistry has lifted her to new heights.
Why Not More? claimed the No. 1 spot on the Current R&B album Sales chart and landed in the Top 3 of current R&B Albums overall. The album also rocketed into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and the Top 15 of the Top Album sales Chart. Jones is making moves across the board and seems unstoppable.
Jones’ Why Not More? tour is kicking off in Philadelphia. The tour will make stops in major cities in the U.S. and internationally including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris. Lady London and TA Thomas will be featured as special guests on select dates.
Jones continued this wave of celebration at this year’s Met Gala. She wore an exquisite dress designed by Indian designer Manish Malhothra. Glamour Magazine praised her Met Gala appearance, writing, “Jones made an iconic and absolutely fierce entrance in a low-cut cream-colored suit jacket, complete with lace embroidery and pearls all over.”
Coco Jones showcases her range
Why Not More? has been embraced worldwide and is a project full of sincerity, vulnerability and honesty. Vocally, Jones is easily one of the best around and is not scared to share her range.
The extended edition of the album adds even more depth, featuring 17 tracks, including three new songs: “Is It Mine (feat. Lady London),” “Control Freak,” and “Taste (Live from the TERRELL SHOW).” Collaborations with heavy hitters like Future, YG Marley, and London on da Track help round out a body of work that is as polished as it is personal.
Jones is a new-age superstar. From the charts to couture, she is staking her claim. From the studio to the stage, she is asking why not more. We are looking forward to more.
