Remy Ma was captured on video having a tense exchange with the woman who claims to be the daughter of the man that her son is accused of killing in 2021.
Remy Ma’s son was arraigned on murder charges
The rap veteran and reality TV star was standing at the top of the steps of the Queens County Courthouse in New York City last month. Remy was in attendance as her son, Jayson “Jace” Scott, was being arraigned on first- and second-degree murder, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, according to Madamenoire.com. The alleged accomplice, Richard Swygert, was also charged, and he’s being held in jail on another murder charge in 2021.
Remy Ma was confronted by Jazmin Dior
As Remy Ma emerged from the courthouse, Jazmin Dior confronted her. Dior claims that Remy Ma’s son murdered her father in cold blood.
In June 2024, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that Scott, then 23, Swygert, then 22, were charged “with a cold-blooded killing on a public street,” with Scott alleged to have been hired to carry out the act.
Back at the Queens courthouse, Dior didn’t mention Remy May by name, but was filmed calling a woman a “raggedy ass b—h” and “gremlin,” according to Complex.
“You would have thought I had done something to you,” Dior said, the magazine reports. “Realistically, I can never speak to my father again. You can see your son.”
Dior said Remy Ma initiated the hostile confrontation
Dior told The Shade Room exclusively that it was Remy Ma who approached her with “hostility” and escalated the situation.
“One of the defendants’ mothers approached me with hostility, attitude, and attempted to escalate things physically — as if I was the one who had done something wrong.” Dior told TSR. “Let me be clear: Her son is being charged with murdering my father [Guillebeaux] in a cold-blooded, premeditated act. I came to court for justice and healing, not confrontation or disrespect. Her behavior only added more trauma to an already unbearable experience.”
The daughter of Guillebeaux continued, saying, “I am grieving a loss that cannot be replaced, and I will not allow anyone to shift blame or act like my pain is anything less than valid.”
In the video that Dior posted to her Instagram page, she films Remy Ma walking away from the courthouse, accusing the rapper of “trying to act tough” and asking her to “go around the corner.”
Remy Ma retorts with “Come on, beat me up,” before walking quickly to the bottom of the steps to set her belongings down and repeating, “Come on, beat me,” before the video ended.
In another clip that TSR posted, Remy Ma was being detained by police officers, but it is unclear the reason behind it.
