Terrence J promotes new book alongside single moms
An E! News co-anchor did a good deed this weekend while introducing the world to his new tome. On Saturday, Sept. 21 Terrence J and the Disney Dreamers Academy treated 100 single mothers and their children to a brunch and a day at the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif.
Joined by his mother, Lisa Gonzalez, and his Baggage Claim co-star Lauren London, J promoted his memoir, The Wealth of My Mother’s Wisdom. The book chronicles Jenkins’ childhood being raised by his strong, single mother and his rise to success amid adversity and obstacles.
Serving as a shining example that anything is possible with determination and preparation, J’s story features distinct lessons he learned from his mother that helped make him a man — lessons about sacrifice, courage, loyalty, dreams and perseverance.
The Wealth of My Mother’s Wisdom hits stores Oct. 1.
