Atlanta’s street are abuzz in anticipation of Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash 18 – one of the livest events in the city since 1995. Radio One brings the hottest mainstream and underground artists from all over to perform and create unforgettable memories.
“My earliest memory is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Bad Boy Entertainment’s stellar performance at Little 5 Points movie theatre. The bash gained major buzz, making a home at Lakewood Amphitheatre. Anyone who remembers when Birthday Bash was at the outdoor venue, remembers the time Jeezy brought Jay-Z and Kanye West to the stage. Many of our favorite Radio One deejays and music directors lived in those moments and are now cultivating new memories,” shares Hurricane Dave Smith, the hip-hop station’s program director. “Birthday Bash’s current home is Philips Arena.”
