Raii and Whitney Keaton are not your typical recording artists. Although many young entertainers write, perform and sing, very few have had the opportunity to do so while sharing some of the world’s biggest stages with some of the most renowned stars — and their significant other. The two most recently performed with Alicia Keys on her “Set the World on Fire” world tour. Together, the husband and wife team joined Keys as her supporting vocalists. Prior to that, Whitney had also performed on Keys’ “Freedom Tour” while Raii toured with Estelle.
Having performed throughout the world, the pair also performed on several television shows and specials, including “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Good Morning America” and the NBA All-Star game.
Music was initially the common denominator that brought them together, but they eventually noticed that their personal, professional and romantic interests had a significant overlap. In the process of touring, they also find time to work on their respective solo careers.
They are currently writing and recording original music for various upcoming projects and are excited to share their music with the world.
The couple will be debuting original material from their upcoming joint project, A Time For Everything in Chicago, on Memorial Day weekend.
