Evelyn Lozada is still crazy about Chad Johnson, but can’t envision being near him anytime soon, if ever, she says in an interview with “Nightline” that airs tonight.
The reality TV star, according to ABC News, says she still loves her husband “more than anything,” but she admits she is “afraid” of him and believes he “needs to get help.”
“It’s the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love,” Lozada told “Nightline” in an exclusive interview. “But you have to walk away because I have to protect myself.”
Evelyn Lozada, the highest profile star of the Shaunie O’Neil-produced “Basketball Wives” on VH1, says despite his arrest for allegedly head-butting her, she still loves estranged husband Chad Johnson — but adds she can’t even imagine speaking to him any time soon, much less being in the same vicinity as him, tmz.com reports.
Lozada described the alleged domestic violence incident as “a bad choice that destroyed his life. But it was his choice, it wasn’t mine.”
