Simon Cowell is officially a father
On Friday, Feb. 14, Cowell’s rep confirmed that the “X Factor” judge, 54, and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, welcomed a bouncing baby boy in New York City.
Eric, who was named after Cowell’s father, arrived at 5:45 p.m. and weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. What a Valentine’s Day gift! Immediately following the birth of his first born, Cowell tweeted the following announcement…

Last July, Cowell shocked the world when he announced that he and Silverman were expecting a child. Lauren was still married to his close friend Andrew Silverman.
