How well do you know King? The beloved  civil rights leader and Baptist Minister, Martin Luther King (1929 – 1968), was one of the nation’s most visible change agents for Civil Rights. King was a leader of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, and became a household name for many Americans of all races after he delivered the I Have A Dream speech at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC during the march for jobs and freedom. King was in Memphis in 1968 to support striking sanitation workers when he was assassinated.
