Over the last couple of years, countless numbers of celebrities have been opening up the doors to their sexuality, with many of them admitting to same-sex relationships and attractions. And now former Spice Girl Mel B is following suit and recently revealed that she’s been romantically involved with women before.
Mel spoke about her sexuality in a recent interview with on “Alan’s Carr: Chatty Man,” explaining that, like other heterosexual women who’ve dated women, “Yeah. I was one of those for a few years.”
Back in 2013, Mel revealed to shock jock Howard Stern that she’d been in a five-year relationship with a woman before. But she said they eventually split because “women are crazy.”
Although Mel has been sexually and romantically involved with women, she clarifies that she doesn’t consider herself to be a lesbian or bisexual.
“I would not call it that. I was just one of those ladies. Now I’m happily married,” she said.
Well, sexuality is a fluid thing, but we’re glad Mel even had the guts to admit that she’s been attracted to women. –nicholas robinson
