NeNe and Kim working on friendship
After heated arguments and even an alleged physical altercation on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are pledging to work on their friendship. Leakes, 45, and Zolciak, 34, have both decided to make amends after years of feuding.
The end to their disagreement will be revealed on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion special where both ladies apparently agreed to make peace.
The news which may come as a shock to some fans, was further detailed to InTouch magazine who profiled Leakes for their latest issue. While dishing on her upcoming wedding to her former husband Gregg Leakes, NeNe touched on reconciling with Zolciak.
“[Kim’s] invited to my wedding, and I believe she’ll come,” she told the mag. “I’m extending an olive branch.”
Kim later sent in a statement of her own echoing NeNe’s thoughts.
“I have always been and I continue to be happy for NeNe, and I look forward to being invited to the wedding,” she told In Touch. “NeNe and I started this journey together and although we have had our ups and downs, I am excited to get our friendship back on track … We were friends long before ‘RHOA,’ and we will be friends long after ‘RHOA’ if it’s up to me.”
