Kile Glover Tragedy Motivates Singer To Call A Truce
After his stepson’s tragic accident last weekend, Usher Raymond is said to be considering a truce with his ex-wife. Usher and Tameka Raymond, who’ve been feuding for months over their sons Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd, 3 are said to be looking to settle their differences amicably now that Tameka’s son Kile Glover, 11, is brain dead in a hospital. Before the preteen was critically injured in a freak jet ski accident, Usher and Tameka were engrossed in a nasty custody battle with allegations that the R&B singer used illicit drugs and slept with two of the stylist’ bridesmaids.
Now with the Kyle calamity looming overhead, Usher reportedly offered to settle with Tameka if she would agree to 50/50 custody of their sons with a slight increase in child support reports TMZ. Tameka has reportedly refused the offer however and is now considering a new deal from her celeb ex, one that would give her the majority of custody and a “significant” support increase. Only time will tell if she will accept.
In addition to going over numbers with Usher, Tameka is being defended by an unidentified “insider” who’s responding to claims that she’s at fault for her child’s accident. Tameka was not present when the crash occurred because her son was spending him time with his father Ryan Glover and his family.
“Ryan [Glover] was equally devoted and involved in Kile’s life — they shared joint custody and Kile was with his other family at the lake, so for those who are claiming Tameka’s at fault for not being there is just absurd — because of the joint custody, her two boys aren’t always directly in her eyesight, but she is a phenomenal mother,” the insider told RadarOnline.
Additionally the insider is slamming news organizations for completely ignoring Kile’s biological father and offering sympathy for Usher. His father Ryan, an Atlanta T.V. exec, plays a very active role in his son’s life. “Although Usher has been so kind in chartering a plane so she could be by Kile’s side, he didn’t necessarily play a huge role in Tameka’s other children’s lives after the divorce, therefore it seems a little disrespectful that Ryan is being ignored as a father, in place of another just because he’s topping the Billboard charts.”
Reports of Kile’s condition are still developing. Rolling out continues to keep Tameka, Ryan and their entire family in our prayers. -danielle canada
