The essence of rap has always been about the story. Great rappers understand how to create songs that have the key elements of a story (beginning, middle and end).

Now that it seems as if Hollywood is stagnant when it comes to creativity (The TV show “Good Times” is the lastest ’70s-era series to become a movie), maybe a few producers and filmmakers  should look into adapting hip-hop songs as films.


We take a look at several rappers who were so vivid with their storytelling skills that their songs are worthy of a screenplay.
