Bobby Brown Fearful Bobbi Kristina Will Fall Prey to Drugs; 5 Other Addicted Stars

In the first part of his tell-all interview with NBC’s “Today” show, Bobby Brown revealed his thoughts and pain about Whitney Houston’s drug abuse and death. And now, in the second part of his interview, Brown opened up about his relationship with his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

“She’s a strong girl: her mom taught her well,” said Brown. “I think we raised her really well, she’s fine, she knows that her mom is gone and she knows that she has to live.”

“Today” host Matt Lauer then asked Brown if he was concerned about the many reports of Bobbi Kristina’s much-talked-about drug use, to which Brown replied that he’s aware of her drug use and is concerned, but only to an extent.

“I would always be worried about that,” said Brown, adding it’s not a huge concern right now. “Because I know: I know what she is actually doing.”

Brown added, “I think people are, you know, making assumptions of what my daughter is and how strong she is. People tend to want to control strong-willed people and that’s what I see.”

Brown also touched upon rumors of Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with her so-called “adopted” brother, Nick Gordon.

“She’s a young lady … you know, I would expect her to have a boyfriend,” said Brown.

Somehow, Brown’s concern — or apparent lack thereof — worries us, especially considering the numerous reports of Bobbi Kristina’s damaged mental state in the wake of her mother’s death and the video and photos showing her using drugs.

Hopefully, things will turn out well for both Bobbi Kristina and Brown and the dangerous cycle of drug abuse started by him and his late wife, Houston, will end with their daughter and not with her downfall.

Unfortunately, she’s not the only young star who’s been a drug user. Check out a list of other stars who battled drug addictions below.
