Meek Mills popped for probation violation, sent to jail
Maybach Music artist Meek Mill has been sentenced to 3-6 months in a Philadelphia jail after violating his probation. According to TMZ, Mill’s, who is currently in custody, reported to court on Thursday afternoon where he faced several charges for multiple violations of his parole on a drug and gun conviction from 2009.
Prosecutors say that they were concerned about a number of recent incidents involving Mills, including dragging the District Attorney’s Office through the mud on Twitter and posting a photo of himself possessing a gun.
Unfortunately for the rapper, who reportedly begged for mercy saying, “This will be extremely damaging to my life,” the judge was forced to rule with a strong thumb.
“I didn’t want to do this, but you made me do this,” said the magistrate presiding. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
