Rapper Wiz Khalifa has made it no secret that he smokes marijuana on a daily basis, so his second citation in ten days for the substance should come as no surprise. TMZ reports that while on tour in North Carolina last night, the ‘trippy’ emcee was busted with 11.3 grams of marijuana after officers searched his tour bus. He was not arrested, but was cited and released. He will have to appear in court at a later date.
Just last weekend, the weed toting emcee was the headliner for a concert at Vanderbilt University. After receiving complaints about a “strong weed odor” from the rapper’s hotel room. He was also given a citation for the incident.
These two busts are not the first time the Taylor Gang head’s been found with weed. In 2010 Wiz was arrested in North Carolina before a performance at East Carolina State University. Charges were later dropped against him because the amount of marijuana did not exceed the 10-pound threshold for a trafficking charge.
