Celebs slam TMZ for Lil Wayne story
After a story hit the net that Lil Wayne was in a medically-induced coma following multiple seizures, social media exploded with reactions. As previously reported, TMZ released an exclusive report claiming that the Young Money rapper was gravely ill after suffering multiple seizures and was being prepared for his last rites. The news source later retracted the last rites portion of their report but maintained that the rapper was still in critical condition.
Since then, however, several people have spoken out against TMZ, slamming them for spreading false information. Quite possibly the most verbal of all was rapper T.I., who went on a expletive-filled rant against the organization. “TMZ some f— n— for reporting that hoe a– s—!,” wrote the rapper online.
His words were later echoed by the likes of Mack Maine and Lil Twist as well as Wayne’s ex Toya Wright and his daughter Reginae Carter.
