The Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal is coming to a close. Today, Judge Jerry Baxter sentenced eight former educators to prison and handed down their fines. Two of the 11 defendants found guilty took plea deals. Sentencing is delayed for Shani Robinson until August 2015 because she is a new mother.

Former Usher-Collier Heights Elementary testing coordinator Donald Bullock, who was found guilty of RICO, False statements and False swearing took the state’s first offender status plea deal. He will serve five years probation, six months of weekends served in jail, a $5,000 fine, and 1500 hours of community service.
Former Dunbar Elementary teacher Pamela Cleveland, who was found guilty of RICO and False statements took the state’s plea deal. She was sentenced to one year of home confinement, with a 7 p.m.-7 a.m. curfew, was fined $1000 fine, and must serve 1000 hours of community service.
Former School Resource Team executive director, who was found guilty of RICO was sentenced to 20 years, she must serve 7. She was fined $25,000 and must serve 2000 hours of community service.
Former School Resource Team executive director Sharon Davis-Williams who was found guilty of RICO and not guilty of False statements was sentenced to 20 years, she must serve 7. She was fined $25,000 and must serve 2000 hours of community service.
Former School Resource Team executive director Michael Pitts who was found guilty of RICO and Influencing witnesses was sentenced to 20 years, he must serve 7. He was fined $25,000 and must serve 2000 hours of community service.
Former Dobbs Elementary teacher Angela Williamson who was found guilty of RICO, False statements and False swearing was sentenced to five years, she must serve one and 1,500 hours of community service, plus pay a $5,000 fine.
Former Dobbs Elementary principal Dana Evans who was found guilty of RICO and False statements was sentenced to five years; she must serve one and 1,000 hours of community service.
Former Deerwood Elemtary assistant principal who was found guilty of RICO, and not guilty of False statements and Theft by taking was sentence to five years, she must serve two and 1,500 hours of community service. She must pay a $5,000 fine.
Dunbar Elementary teacher Diane Buckner-Webb, who was found guilty of RICO and False statements, was sentenced to five years; she must serve one and 1,000 hours of community service; and pay a $1,000 fine.
Benteen Elementary testing coordinator Theresia Copeland, who was found guilty of RICO and False statements but not guilty of Theft by taking, was sentenced to five years; she must serve one and 1,000 hours of community service; and pay a $1,000 fine.
