Yesterday, Young Money rapper Tyga made a surprise visit to a Los Angeles Children’s Hospital where he gifted over 60 young teens in the Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases with early Christmas swag.
When Tyga was informed that one of his super fans, Isael Gomez, was a patient there and had only one request, to meet him in person, he made a special trip to the center to make the young boy’s dream come true. Isael has had 20 surgeries and dialysis three times a week since weeks after his birth. Currently, the 16-year-old boy needs a kidney transplant. Thankfully, the LA native’s impromptu visit initiated a campaign to help find a donor.
When asked about his time at the Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases, Tyga said, “It’s important to support nonprofit organizations like Children’s Hospital Los Angeles—they take incredible care of our community, so I am honored to help make a difference for these children who are from the city I grew up in and to help encourage them and to bring a smile to their faces.”
