Allen Iverson’s name has become synonymous with the word “trouble.” And, once again, he’s proven the accuracy of such a label.
Apparently, he’s been linked to an altercation that occurred this past weekend at Wet Willie’s in Atlanta. The NBA baller was reportedly approached by a gentleman who claimed Iverson owed him money from a gambling debt.
Iverson’s crew didn’t appreciate being hassled by the man and the situation escalated into a brawl.
It has been confirmed that Iverson was present at the time of the fight, but there’s no evidence that he actually participated.
Interestingly, the incident occurred amid ongoing reports of AI’s problems with alcoholism and gambling.
Maybe he’ll take this as a sign to lay low for awhile and get some help. –christian johnson
