Actually, Hall of Famer and tennis analyst John McEnroe called Williams the greatest of all time after she won her 17th Grand Slam title, defeating No. 2 Victoria Azarenka 7-5, 6-7 (6), 6-1. It was also Williams’ second consecutive U.S. Open title.
