LeBron James had to leave game 1 of the NBA Finals after suffering from leg cramps in the 4th quarter. After a power failure occurred at the AT&T Center in San Antonio and the air conditioning stopped working. Temperatures in the arena reached 90 degrees.
After James exited the game, the Heat lost 110-95. Along with the loss, James faced criticism for catching cramps. Gatorade took a shot at James by tweeting, “The person cramping wasn’t our client. Our athletes can take the heat.” James endorses Powerade energy drink.
