Has Apollo Nida skipped out on his prison check-in?

Yesterday was the day that Apollo Nida was supposed to turn himself in to begin his eight-year prison sentence for $2 million worth of identity theft and fraud. And although it initially seemed that Nida was going to turn himself in as planned, reports claim that Nida may have bailed on prison.

Yesterday morning, TMZ reported that, after enjoying one final night of freedom in an Atlanta nightclub, Nida was on his way to prison to turn himself in by his appointed time at noon.

However, later in the day, the site reported that Nida had apparently decided against turning himself in on time and instead decided to head back to his home for a heated argument with his wife, Phaedra Parks.

Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida

According to sources, Nida confronted Parks after she refused to put any money into his prison account, as well as refused to bring their kids to see him in prison. Nida was so fired up that he drove back home and confronted Parks about the matter. Eyewitnesses say that Nida forced his way inside their house and started screaming at Parks, “What the f— is the matter with you,” adding, “I don’t give a f— about the police, call them, I dare you.”

Nida allegedly demanded property and went into the master bedroom and begin placing things in a big bag.

And if that wasn’t enough of a spectacle, sources say that Bravo was on hand to film the chaos for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

According to TMZ, the couple has been feuding for weeks. Sources say Parks was furious at Nida for spending his last night as a free man at a nightclub. Parks has also allegedly been telling people that Nida has abandoned their family. Things reportedly became so tense between the estranged couple over the past two weeks that Parks feared Nida may abuse her. However, nothing happened.

And Parks isn’t the only one who is angry because Nida allegedly feels that Parks has abandoned him in his time of need. Nida is also still mad about Parks skipping out on his sentencing.

Regardless of the reason for the blowup, Nida reportedly failed to show up to prison on time and since he was late, an arrest warrant was reportedly issued for him.

There’s been no word from either Nida or Parks on what really happened, but we’ll keep you posted as this story develops. – nicholas robinson
