Gayla St. Julien sentenced to 5 years

Apollo Nida’s admitted “right hand b—-,” Gayla St. Julien has officially been sentenced.

St. Julien, who cooperated with authorities in 2013 in connection with Apollo Nida’s fraud case, will spend at least five-years in jail.

On April 23, the admitted scam artist pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud and aggravated identity theft.

As previously reported, the Fairburn, Ga., woman was arrested in September 2013 after being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service’s counterfeit and U.S. Treasury Check Squad. She then worked with police to implicate the reality star.

St. Julien, who allegedly worked with Nida since 2009, says she deposited fraudulent checks, stole U.S. Treasury checks and stole retirement checks issued to Delta Airlines employees. She and Nida are accused of pocketing nearly $3 million in stolen funds.

Apollo Nida is currently working on a plea deal with federal prosecutors for his fraud and identity theft charges.

Nida will presumably not issue a statement on her sentencing considering that he is still trying to reach a plea agreement with prosecutors. He was previously imprisoned for five years himself from 2004 to 2009 for breaking federal racketeering laws related to auto title fraud.

His wife, Phaedra Parks, said Sunday on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” that she’s standing by him but told host Andy Cohen she won’t be representing him in court.

“Hell no [I won’t represent him],” said Parks. “I will support him until this is resolved. No, I have not filed for divorce, I am still very married,” she added flashing her wedding ring.

When asked if it was a difficult time for her family she added, “Of course it is. But we are where we are and we’ll support him. We are a family. He’s the father of my two beautiful kids and at the end of the day, I am a Southern belle and I believe in family and I will support him until this is resolved.”
