Porsha and Kordell Stewart’s divorce has been the talk of the town, once again. Ever since the new season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” debuted, Porsha hinted that Stewart left her because he’s gay. Recently, Stewart posted several subliminal tweets and retweets bashing Porsha’s claims, but now he’s flat out denying them and claiming that Porsha is to blame for their divorce.
During a recent interview with DJ Ryan Cameron of Atlanta’s V-103, Stewart denied that he’s ever been sexually involved with another man.
“I promise you on my life in everything that I’m part of, including my son and my father who’s no longer here, that that has never happened nor will anything ever come up, ever come up, with no dude about me.”
During this week’s “RHOA” season premiere, Porsha wept as she struggled to understand exactly why Stewart decided to divorce her after promising that divorce wasn’t something he was considering. But according to Stewart, Porsha’s late nights outside of their home and her failure to be a “good wife” and mother are what prompted him to split from her.
“When my son asked me these few times, I have to figure out how do I make him understand what’s going on. He doesn’t deserve to have to deal with that when there are two parents at home. If anything, we should be eating dinner together, finding a way to get it done or making sure that when the kid goes to bed that you go in there and check on the kid. Kiss him goodnight, even if it’s three in the morning,” said Stewart.
Stewart claims that Porsha was too defiant of a wife and then shockingly claims that Porsha, in an act of spite, asked him to divorce her.
“I ain’t never had this gangsta talk to me from my woman before from the standpoint of you’re doing your thing, but it’s supposed to be about the household,” he said. “When you come out of your mouth and show that type of disrespect, you don’t know how much that burned me up inside.”
“When your wife look you in your face and tell you to file for divorce and the only reason she’s not filing is because she don’t have the money and she don’t have nothing to lose…are you kidding me?” he added.
Despite their nasty divorce, Stewart claims that he still has some level of love for Porsha.
“I have love in my heart for what I remembered about Porsha. I love her so much that where she is, she’s going to stay,” he said. “She’s not coming back over here. There’s nothing here for her to get or I want at all.”
