Shonda Rhimes already went head-to-head with one critical New York Times writer last month over her portrayal of black women in shows like “Scandal,” but recently Rhimes had to take on an angry fan about her inclusion of “gay scenes” on her new hit show “How To Get Away With Murder.”
In the new ABC hit, which stars Viola Davis, Rhimes features the romantic and sexual exploits of lead character, Connor.
And although some viewers see the storyline as groundbreaking, one particular viewer decided to slam Rhimes on Twitter for showing too much gayness on TV.
But like before, Rhimes brilliantly defended her writing and the LGBT community all in a powerful couple of tweets.
