Bow Tie Connoisseurs Join Forces for Easter Seals Fashion Event

Courtney A. Hammonds and Patrick T. Cooper

Atlanta’s fashion elite Courtney A. Hammonds and Patrick T. Cooper joined Mezlan Shoes at Phipps Plaza on Thursday, June 14, 2012 to help spread awareness about Easter Seals North Georgia’s “Make the first Five Count” campaign. This national awareness and advocacy effort is designed to give kids at-risk of developmental delays, autism or other disabilities needed support to be school-ready and build a foundation for a lifetime of learning.

In an effort to spread the word and gain support from local families, Easter Seals partnered with BowTie Cause, an organization launched in 2010 by former NFL Linebacker Dhani Jones, to challenge others to rock a bow tie. This posh Father’s Day soiree attracted bow tie enthusiasts from all over the city.
