Wissam Al Mana appears to remain hopeful about his marriage to Janet Jackson, despite reports they’re headed for splitsville.

Less than a week after news broke that Jackson had walked away from Al Mana after just five years of marriage, the Qatari billionaire penned a heart felt message dedicated to his “best friend,”

“To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend,” he wrote on his website, accompanied by a black-and-white photo of the pop icon. “I love you so much, inshallah we will be together in the Great Forever x.”

Previously reported, earlier this week, we learned that the pair had called it quits. A source told the Daily Mail, who was first to report the news, “Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn’t working and to go their separate ways. They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.”

In case you’re playing catchup, the “Nasty” singer and the 42-year-old businessman welcomed their first child together in January. “She is a really zen person. She is in her element. She loves being a mom and this is what she has been waiting her whole life for,” an insider told “E! News” of Jackson’s current state.

Meanwhile, Jackson, who secretly wed Al Mana in 2012, shared a first look at her baby boy Eissa, who is just three months old, via Instagram. “My baby and me after nap time,” she captioned the adorable snap.

This is the third divorce for Jackson, 50, who was previously married to James DeBarge and René Elizondo Jr.
