Diddy and former Bad Boy Entertainment star Ma$e reunited this week at Drake‘s OVO Fest for their first performance together in almost a decade. The former labelmates appeared towards the end of the night, and ran through 1990s hits like “Feels So Good” and “Mo Money, Mo Problems” to the delight of the crowd.
The two have had a complicated history, with Ma$e’s departure from Bad Boy and subsequent attempted comeback with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records resulting in some friction between the old friends. But in a video clip from backstage at OVO Fest, it’s clear that there is still camaraderie between Ma$e and the artist formerly known as “Puffy.”
“Yo man, ain’t you happy to see me, n—a?,” Diddy playfully asks Ma$e in the footage.
“What the f–k? What’s up, n—a? [laughs]” he continues. “Well you had me totally thrown off. Totally strange, n—a. Welcome back.”
