BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Media maven and talk show billionaire Oprah Winfrey spread the wealth with the cast of Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” for her OWN Network premiere of the successful sitcom that included the likes of Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Brad James, Kiki Haynes and Kent Faulcon.
According to reports, “For Better or Worse” — a spinoff from the box office hits Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too? — was the most successful basic cable sitcom and the No. 1 show among African American adults.
