Ja Rule and 50 Cent Beef Again, This Time on Twitter

In 2002, rappers Ja Rule and 50 Cent put fire to wax when they engaged in one of the most legendary rap feuds in music history. Now, nearly a decade later, the two are at it again, this time taking their beef from wax to the media’s new battlefield: Twitter.

The beef started when 50 Cent took to Twitter to mock Ja Rule’s recent tax evasion conviction.

“Don’t nobody care about you fool. Go sit yo a– down hahaha,” tweeted the G-Unit chief before retweeting, “Lol RT @YouCantBSerious: Ja Rule pleads guilty to tax evasion aww this is the biggest headline for Ja since @50Cent destroyed his career.”

Incensed by 50 Cent’s tweets, Ja Rule proceeded to go on an extended rant, bashing 50 Cent with tweets such as:

“This Curtis fellow is a real clown clothing line dead sneakers dead album sells been dead and ya’ll let him talk like he’s still poppin @50Cent.”

“Don’t worry about my tax issue there gonna pay that 1.1 mil… most of u n—– can’t pay your phone bill lmao #WINNING still.”

“This n—- @50Cent street name was boo boo I call b—— boo boo.”

Adding insult to injury, Ja Rule also tweeted a photoshopped image of 50 Cent’s face plastered on pop star Justin Beiber’s body.

Although it’s comical, is really worth it for the two the battle again?

What do you think of the twitter feud? Should the two of them just resolve their beef or keep throwing jabs at each other? –nicholas robinson
