LeToya Luckett, R&B singer-actress, former Destiny’s Child star and, now, celebrity spokesperson for Chicago-based Luster Products and its Pink Brand Smooth Touch line of hair products, made a special appearance at the Wal-Mart store in Evergreen Park on Saturday, May 21.
The Pink Brand Smooth Touch line targets younger style-conscious female consumers between ages 16 and 24.
During her appearance that afternoon, Luckett met and greeted fans and signed autographs.
Luckett is currently the HBO drama “Treme,” set and filmed in New Orleans, and she is recording her third solo CD, due out in September. In addition, she will appear in From the Rough, an independent feature film starring Taraji P. Henson and Chicago’s own Michael Clarke Duncan. –zondra hughes
