Tiger Woods Shoots Worst PGA Round of His Career; In Danger of Missing the Cut

Tiger Woods Shoots Worst PGA Round of His Career; In Danger of Missing the Cut Tiger Woods appears to have lost his most impressive talent. Since his personal life was shattered due to his wife’s discovery of his extramarital affairs, Woods has struggled to recapture the dominance that made him one of the top athletes in the world.

On Aug. 11, Woods shot his worst round ever at the PGA Championship at Johns Creek, Ga. Woods began the tournament by shooting 3 under after playing five holes. However, his swing disintegrated as he knocked two in the water, hit three double bogeys, and five bogeys. Woods shot a dismal 7 over 77.

If Woods can’t find a way to rally, he will miss the cut for the first time in 13 PGA tournaments. In turn, he could become ineligible for the year because he currently ranks 129th in FedEx Cup points.

Only the top 125 golfers are eligible to advance to the next four playoff events in two weeks. –amir shaw
