How is your business unique and why is it needed?

When did it become clear that this is what you were supposed to do with your life?
One Sunday morning, my pastor said that you’ll know what you’re supposed to do in life when you can’t stand to see someone else do it incorrectly.
That’s when I started to see that I should really try to take my clothing line and my image consulting to another level. When I think back, I can remember people always telling me that they loved the way I put my suits, shirts and ties together. I also started to notice that I could see wardrobe combinations and different ways to put clothes together that other people couldn’t see.
Thanks to a great friend of mine, Anthony Turner, who taught me everything about the business, my “aha” moment became reality.
What motivates you?
What keeps me motivated is knowing that I have a great opportunity that many people where I grew up didn’t have.
I never want to take it for granted because I work with so many young people and I have set a good example; an example that proves that no matter where you are from you can always fulfill your purpose and live your dreams if you don’t quit.
A big part of my motivation is my beautiful family and all the people who decided not to help me or who laughed at my ideas. I am not upset by any means, however, I do hope that what I have been able to accomplish thus far shows them to review the dreams they may have walked away from.
It is my hope that I can one day be a great help to someone that is in the position I was once in; with great ideas and little help.
What advice do you wish to offer other aspiring professionals who wish to follow a similar path?
Never give up! I know it sounds cliché, but it’s so true. When you really want something you will do whatever it takes to get it done. The best thing I could have ever done was to find someone who was doing what I wanted to do, and find a way to serve them and learn what I needed to know. Goals are obtainable but vision is infinite, and what you’ll find is that you can reach your goals, but your vision will continue to expand greater and greater.
