In the issue, Rose’s Twitter rosebuds and followers got the chance to ask Rose personal questions, which ranged from what makes Rose feel sexy to how to ignore haters and remain confident?
Rose showed her seductive side on the all color cover wearing a Calvin Klein bra, and American Apparel underwear. On inside pages she’s seen wearing an Obesity and Speed top, vintage belt, Circa Sixty Three earrings, Laruicci ring, LaCrasia glove, Tripp NYC body suit, and Crux earrings.

What makes you feel sexy?
When I have a fresh cut and a tan.
What made you cut off all your hair?
When I was a little girl I used to love Sinéad O’Connor’s video and song “Nothing Compares 2 U.” I knew I wanted to look as beautiful as she did one day, so when I was old enough to make my own decisions, at 19, I cut it off, and it’s been over eight years now.
When and what was your first tattoo?
I was 15 and I got paw prints on my upper thigh. It was kind of a fad in Philly and all the girls had them.
Do you plan on getting another tattoo? What would it be of?
I want to get two full sleeves eventually, but I just don’t know what I want yet.
What’s your ethnic background?
My mom is Cape Verdean—West African—and my father is Italian and Irish.
How do you manage to ignore the haters and the negativity and remain confident?
It’s not easy —I won’t lie. But I choose to keep my life positive. I’m not perfect, so I ask God to forgive me all the time and thank him for helping me grow into a better woman. That gets me through everything.
As a child, did you always want to be a model?
Oh, no — I was a total dork! I didn’t think I was going to grow up to be pretty. I guess that’s why I’m humble now. I always wanted to be a marine biologist. I have a fascination with whales so I wanted to study them … maybe one day I will.
What are your thoughts on couples showing their love for each other through ink?
Wiz and I did it, but we want to be together forever. So I guess really make sure you want to be with that person forever, and try to wait until you’re older, when you can make better decisions. I suggest getting a small tattoo, just in case you break up — ,then it’s an easy cover-up.
How do you keep your body so fit?
Well, my schedule is really busy, but I try to work out as much as I can. And when I’m too tired to work out, I just try my hardest to eat right. It’s really hard sometimes, because I grew up in Philly with cheesesteaks and hoagies, so I love good fattening food.
Have you found that having body art has restricted your career goals in any way?
No, not at all. But when I get my sleeves, it probably will be a problem.
Do you have a certain tattoo artist that is your go-to?
Yes. His name is Tuki [Carter], out of Atlanta.
What advice would you give to women who want to get into the modeling business?
Just have very thick skin. People are very critical and mean. They will try to tear you apart.
I’m only 17 but … I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer this summer. I’m not comparing you to a cancer patient, but hopefully when I grow some hair I can dye it like yours! You’re such an inspiration—you seriously give me hope to rock my bald head! How do you keep up with the whole platinum blond hair?
Wow, sweetheart, I’m so sorry to hear that. But I’m happy that I can help inspire you. To get my style, you would have to go to a beauty supply store and get powder bleach and 40-volume developer; mix them up and apply! You’ll be a blond Rosebud in no time!
