In 2006, actor IsaiahWashingtoncame under fire after an on-set argument with Grey’s Anatomy costar Patrick Dempsey in which he which he used a homophobic slur.Washington’s words sparked a highly-public fallout and though the actor later apologized to his costars and the public for his actions, he was ultimately fired from the show.
