When I touched down in Los Angeles, I went straight to Hotel Angeleno. And as I stepped my foot out of the car, I was greeted by a host of very friendly valet guys. They were extremely accommodating they grabbed my bags and assisted me with where I needed to go. The hotel lobby was swanky, yet had a warm and inviting feel to it. Check-in was quick and I was in my room in a matter of minutes. The room was beautifully decorated and very well appointed. Hotel Angeleno also has a mini bistro bar for guests, a media center, gym, outdoor pool and more.
On the 17th floor is a restaurant called, West that’s open for an early breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The ambiance is great and it would be a great place to meet for drinks or a fab date. I met up with publicist Jessica, who showed me around and scheduled me for an early dinner. She offered fun facts about the hotel as well. Jessica explained that the BET sitcom, The Game season finale (last season) was filmed throughout the hotel. How cool is that! Later on that evening, my friend Craig met me for dinner. We ordered cocktails and munched on chicken quesadillas and fries. Everything was excellent.
Room amenities included internet access for emails at no additional fee, a pillow top mattress that was extremely comfy and a mini bar. I loved it! I plan to visit this adorable boutique hotel more often and even better — it’s right off the 405 connector!
