Blue Ivy Carter is not only the youngest person to ever appear on the Billboard music charts, which many people found ridiculous or over-the-top. But now the media has learned that Beyonce’s and Jay-Z’s newborn is probably the first baby in history to have a strain of marijuana named in her “honor.”
Scores of medical marijuana dispensaries — which are nearly as numerous in Los Angeles as liquor stores and churches — are trying to cash in on the musical royalty’s baby. Many are selling a strain of cannabis called “OG Blue Ivy.”
This leads us to believe that pot pushers are smoking too much of their own stuff. None of the weed dispensaries have been slapped with an injunction to cease and desist this exploitative practice, as of yet. But if Hov is trying to come correct these days by removing the word “b—-” from his vocabulary, then I’m sure he’s not too keen having his tiny toddler’s name slapped on the side of cannabis containers. –terry shropshire

TMZ has learned, multiple weed dispensaries in Hollywood are cashing in on hip hop’s baby princess … by selling a new strain of marijuana called “OG Blue Ivy.” Obviously, Bee and Hova didn’t sign off on the new strain — but so far, none of the dispensaries have received any sort of legal notice from the couple: 99 problems, but a kush ain’t one.
