Unfortunately, black celebrities aren’t the only ones who have to deal with issues of color. On her 2002 single, “Powerless (Say What You Want),” superstar singer Nelly Furtado, who is of Portuguese descent, sang about Hollywood’s preference for blonde hair, blue-eyed beauty and how she was often made to look like that image of “perfection.”
