Common has been steadily building a reputable film career since appearing in a couple UPN shows nearly a decade ago. Now, he’s got a hit show on AMC and an IMDB resume that would make most actors jealous. Common’s also had modeling gigs for Gap and Diesel. In 2008, Common launched a new clothing line in partnership with Microsoft titled “Softwear,” based on 1980s computing.

Usher
To younger generations, Usher is known as the guy who gave Justin Bieber his shot, but the 33-year-old singer has more going on than finding talent on Youtube. Usher founded his own label US Records in 2002, became part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and used his Bieber discovery to found Raymond Braun Media Group, a joint venture with Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun.
