Something strange happens to media folks of color when they start to receive checks from Fox News, they forget that they are media folks of color.
The absence of his rich Puerto Rican heritage may have been behind Geraldo Rivera’s ill-fated remark, “I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was. … I’ll bet you money: if he didn’t have that hoodie on, that nutty neighborhood watch guy wouldn’t have responded in that violent and aggressive way.”
If that’s the case, 68-year-old Rivera must have a death wish for all the times he’s worn hoodies.
