Bounce TV to Launch New Black Sitcom

A new Black sitcom is coming to television screens this summer starring a Baby Boy actress and a number of familiar faces. Bounce TV, the growing black network, its set to launch its first-ever original series titled “Family Time.” Described as a half hour situation comedy created by Bentley Kyle Evans (“The Jamie Foxx Show,” “Martin,” ” Love That Girl”), the sitcom will air this summer.

“Family Time” tells the story of the Stallworths, a working class black family who wins a small fortune in the lottery and sees their status jump overnight. Omar Gooding (Baby Boy, “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper”), Angell Conwell, Jayla Calhoun and Bentley Kyle Evans, Jr.  make up the cast.  Family Time debuts on Bounce TV June 18, and will air on Mondays at 8 p.m.


Bounce Network launched in September and is said to be available in 75 percent of black households and 60 million houses nationwide. -danielle canada
