Just like the title of the event All Vinyl Everything is just what it sounds like — DJ’s can only DJ on Vinyl Records NO SERATO allowed. There were more than 18DJs in the building waiting to get their 15 minutes on the 1s and 2s to show how they move a crowd. Participants included, DJ Jamad, DJ Applejac, Trackmaster the DJ, DJ Teknology, DJ Ada, DJ Jaycee (who brought 45′ records with him), DJ X, DJ SpeackerFoxx, DJ Princess Cut, Jackmaster Solomon, DJ Kash, DJ Frost, and DJ Drama just to name a few.
Sean Falyon hosted for the night, keeping the crowd hyped like a true MC is supposed to do. They were spinning nothing, but the hits from Michael Jackson to Outkast to KRS1 to Prince — they didn’t miss a beat. The crowd was going crazy from record to record all night. Every DJ that got on the 1s and 2s ripped their set. The vibe felt like an old school house party in your mom’s basement. Killer Mike was in the spot rocking with the DJs.
