25 Facebook Posts That Got People Fired From the Job Michael Bullerdick (yes, that’s his real name, folks) incited an uproar when the white journalist was hired to be managing editor of the iconic black women’s publication Essence magazine. Black readership’s reservations were corroborated when his Facebook page contained a cartoon which called Reverend Al Sharpton a “MSNBC Race Pimp.” Another entry referred to President Barack Obama as a radical. The company issued a statement saying, “By mutual agreement, Michael has accepted a position in another division.”
