Diaz and J Leaving ‘106 & Park’

BET is reportedly losing more than the two stars of their hit show “The Game.” The network will soon be without its famed daily countdown hosts. As previously reported Tia Mowry confirmed Tuesday that she’s leaving “The Game” while her co-star, Pooch Hall, confessed that he’s still on the fence about his participation in the program.

According to the New York Post, BET is facing another shake-up now that Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J are leaving “106 & Park.” Diaz, 28, is said to be leaving the program to pursue an acting career. Mimicking her move; J, 30, will also focus on his thespian side after finding success in the box office hit, Think Like a Man. Although unconfirmed as of yet, Diaz is said to be moving to California for her acting pursuit.

J and Diaz became hosts of the popular countdown show after AJ Calloway and Free left the network in 2005. Following their departure, Big Tigger and Julissa Bermudez filled in temporarily before the network brought in Diaz and J as the winners of a national competition. –danielle canada
