JAWS: This 1975 Steven Spielberg classic remains one of the greatest box office attractions in the history of motion pictures, especially when you adjust figures for inflation. But it was hard to justify a second great white shark appearing on the East Coast, in exactly the same spot as the first one, when the first one was an extreme rarity (great whites are more prominent on the West Coast near the Bay Area). But at least JAWS 2 was moderately entertaining. The third installment was utterly unbelievable and atrocious.
