Vanilla Ice
Perhaps the most famous copyright infringement lawsuit of the last few generations, ’80s rapper Vanilla Ice was famously sued in 1990 by Queen and David Bowie, who alleged that Ice sampled their “Under Pressure” without consent or license for his massive hit “Ice Ice Baby.” Before the case could go to court, Ice settled the matter out of court for an undisclosed price.
