Rasheeda and Kirk Fall Apart
After the video premiere fiasco, Rasheeda decides to meet manager Deb Antney, Waka Flocka Flame’s mother and former manager of Nicki Minaj, to discuss getting new management. In their meeting, Deb explains to Rasheeda that the “common denominator to her failure” is her connection to her husband’s label andmanagement and that her career is failing because her loyalty is to her husband instead of herself. Rasheeda breaks into to tears as she hears Deb’s words and finally begins to admit to herself that she may need to professionally part with her husband to succeed. Three days later, Rasheeda finally tells Kirk about her meeting with Deb and Kirk immediately cries foul. As he begins to tear up, he explains that Rasheeda is overlooking all his years of loyalty to her and that he’s hurt that she went behind his back. However, Rasheeda, who’s also in tears, tries to explain that she wants Kirk to partner with another manager, but the convo falls apart as Kirk asks if she’s going to fire him and she walks off in tears.
